Dear CH-EM members,

This year's Autumn Conference will take place on Saturday, 21 November 2026, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM in Biel/Bienne at the Bern Academy of the Arts (HKB), Jakob-Rosius-Strasse 16, Room 3-03.

This year, we invite all interested members, and especially students, to present their research projects and findings (in German, French, Italian, or English). As the primary aim of the event is to encourage exchange and discussion, the format will be relatively informal.

Contributions may be presented in the traditional conference format (20-minute presentation followed by 10 minutes of discussion), but other formats are also welcome, such as a short research report (approximately 10 minutes). We are open to additional suggestions as well.

Please send your abstract (maximum 250 words), a one-sentence biography, and your preferred presentation format by 2 October 2026 to Natalie Kirschstein at natalie.kirschstein@hslu.ch.
